Covid-19 Update

Dear customers,

Floastation is now up and running again and open for orders.

Please note that at the factory where Floatsation is being manufactured we have put in place a few extra rules for everyone safety as follows. This ensures that when your order leave the factory it has been made to the highest health and safety specification in line with Covid rules as well as our normal high specification for your peace of mind.

Floatsation Aids:

  • As of April 2020 we are using a new anti-chlorine thread; as we know that pools as they re-open may be using a higher level of chlorine in the short term to copy with Covid.
  • Note we are advised that Covid can not survive in chlorinated water. The average amount of chiorine that’s in a pool is going to kill the virus.

At the Factory:

  • All members of staff have been given their own personal supply of PPE - inc Masks, Gloves and hand sanitiser.
  • We have signage within each building, specifying max. capacity within certain areas, as well as signage reminding workers of the need for social distancing etc.
  • Within the offices we are as spread out as we can be, and where desk spaces are quite close to each other we have put up a make-shift divider screen.
  • Anyone that develops one of the Government listed symptoms is advised to self-isolate and not come to work.
  • There are hand-sanitisers around site as well in many areas.
  • The health and safety committee in-house are meeting regular to constantly review the situation in line with government guidelines.
  • We are continuously reviewing the situation in line with Government policy.
